The weird and wonderful family comes to devilishly delightful life in THE ADDAMS FAMILY. This magnificently macabre new musical comedy is created by JERSEY BOYS authors Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, and Drama Desk Award winner Andrew Lippa.
THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story, and it's every father's nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family - a man her parents have never met. And if that weren't upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's 'normal' boyfriend and his parents.
Come meet the family. We’ll leave the lights off for you.

The Addams Family, that weird and wonderfully dysfunctional group we have all come to know and love comes to life right here on The Masquers Stage in May 2015.
This magnificently macabre musical comedy is created by Jersey Boys authors Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, and Drama Desk Award winner Andrew Lippa. We guarantee that you will be thoroughly entertained by the story, music, characters and chorus made up of Addams Family Ancestors. (that's right - their dead)
To make this musical come to life right here on the Lakeshore The Masquers has chosen Kevin Sievert as director. This will be Kevin's first time as director, but definitely not the first time he has seen the stage or all that goes into a production. Kevin was last seen as Judas in our production of Jesus Christ Superstar and he also choreographed the dances for that show.
We're pleased and excited to have Kevin lined up to direct our final show of this season. We know he will have a lot of work ahead of him and many people ready and willing to help make his vision come to life on stage.
